Botox is injected with very fine (30–32G) needles and each point takes seconds. Most patients describe only a mild pinprick; topical anaesthetic cream or ice increases comfort in sensitive zones. Post-procedure pain is not expected.
Nasolabial filler softens the lines running from the nose to the mouth corners using hyaluronic acid. Proper technique often targets the midface — the real source of volume loss — rather than the line itself. Results last about 9–15 months and can be reversed with hyaluronidase if needed.
Mild swelling and tenderness are normal; most prominent in the first 48–72 hours and usually fully resolved within 1–2 weeks. Lips swell the most. Cold compresses on day one, sleeping with the head elevated, and avoiding alcohol/intense exercise speed recovery. Contact your physician if swelling lasts beyond two weeks, increases, or becomes painful.

Because PRP is prepared from your own blood, there is no allergy or rejection risk; the most common effects are temporary redness, mild swelling, and bruising at injection sites. Safety depends on sterile conditions and a correct preparation protocol — PRP should only be performed under physician control with certified kits. It is not applied during active infection, blood disorders, or with certain medications.
