Post-Botox: 14-Day Aftercare Roadmap (Day-by-Day)
First 4 hours
Stay upright; no rubbing the area; light makeup OK after 4 hours, no rubbing.
First 24 hours
No exercise, sauna, hot showers, face-down sleeping. Mild alcohol OK; avoid excess (bruising).
Day 2–3
No visible effect yet (normal). Mild swelling / micro-bruising resolves in 3–5 days.
Day 4–7
Onset begins. Asymmetry can appear before full settling — don't judge yet. Exercise back to normal.
Day 14 check
Symmetry evaluation. Touch-up if needed. Ptosis / complication management starts here.
Red flags
Persistent eyelid drop, > 7-day severe headache, vision changes, swallowing difficulty, breathing distress (emergency).
Bottom line
4 hours of care, 24 hours of moderation, day-14 follow-up. That cadence is the rule.
